Aintree Racecourse is on the A59, a mile from the M57 and M58. Car parking must be booked in advance. Car parks open at 6am, but you can’t get onto the racecourse until the gates open.
The Grand National has no set dress code. Aintree asks racegoers not to wear fancy dress or sportswear, and to avoid team colours and sports kits.
