Cowes Week brings up to 750 boats, racing in about 40 classes, to the Solent off the Isle of Wight. It is a regatta first, and the organiser’s own site is written for the crews. Tell us whether you want to watch from Cowes, follow the racing from the water or race, and your host checks what can be arranged and quotes it in writing.

What to expect
We source hospitality through venues, promoters and their appointed hospitality partners, and confirm exactly what is available for your date before you commit.
Cowes Week marked its bicentenary in 2026, with 642 boats racing in 36 classes. Most starts are just off Cowes, on the Royal Yacht Squadron line or a committee-boat line, and results go up on screens around the town within minutes of each finish.

Spectators gather along the Cowes waterfront, and on the final evening of the 2026 regatta thousands came down to the water or out in boats for the fireworks, back after a six-year break. If you would like to race, the organiser says entries for the next regatta open in the new year, and the handicap classes need a current rating.

Tell us the day or days, the size of your group and whether you want to be ashore, afloat or racing. Your host comes back with what can be arranged for that week, and our sister travel team can add travel to the island and somewhere to stay.
Questions
Possibly. The organiser says entries for the next regatta open in the new year, and the handicap classes need a current rating. Tell us your crew’s experience and your host will check the options.
Yes. Our sister travel team at Sporting Escapes Group can add them to the same plan, so you have one quote and one point of contact.
Your host sends a written quote per guest, including VAT, that lists exactly what is included: the seat or table, food, drinks and any extras you ask for. There is no checkout and nothing to pay until you have agreed the quote.
