The Season 2027: a hospitality calendar

Sources checked 3 October 2026 · 3 min read

The Season runs from May into August. Here are the 2027 dates in order, each taken from the organiser’s own page on 3 October 2026, with what each says about its hospitality and, where it publishes one, its dress code. Dates can move; your quote confirms the date in force when you book.

The 2027 dates

Wimbledon and Henley overlap in the first week of July, and Glorious Goodwood finishes on the day Cowes Week begins, so decide early if you want more than one.

May: Royal Windsor and Chelsea

“Taking place from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th May 2027, Royal Windsor Horse Show is the only time of year the private grounds of Windsor Castle are open to the public.”
— Royal Windsor Horse Show (opens in a new tab)

The show’s Club Enclosure, the home of its members’ club, looks onto the main arena:

“The Club Enclosure at Royal Windsor Horse Show offers a beautiful, tented restaurant, bar and café.”

The following week the RHS gives its members the first two days of the Chelsea Flower Show, Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 May, before the public days from Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 May. RHS members’ tickets go on sale on 19 October 2026 and public tickets on 21 October.

“Spring Garden at RHS Chelsea is an intimate and exclusive dining experience, offering private chalets or tables, perfect for those looking to celebrate with friends and family or elevate a personal celebration.”
— RHS — RHS Chelsea Flower Show (opens in a new tab)
“During the show there is also the opportunity to entertain your clients at the iconic Royal Hospital Chelsea Great Hall, elegant State Apartments or the newly available The Wren House.”

June: the Derby and Royal Ascot

Epsom’s Derby Festival is two days: Ladies Day, with the Oaks, on Friday 4 June and Derby Day on Saturday 5 June. Royal Ascot follows ten days later, from Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 June.

Both racecourses sell restaurant hospitality and private boxes, and both set their own dress codes, which our Epsom and Royal Ascot pages and our racing dress codes guide explain.

Late June and July: Wimbledon, Henley and Goodwood

Wimbledon marks 150 years of The Championships in 2027, from 28 June to 11 July. Our Wimbledon page explains the difference between a hospitality package and a debenture seat.

Henley Royal Regatta runs from Tuesday 29 June to Sunday 4 July, with tickets on sale in spring 2027. Its hospitality includes riverside dining, private chalets and Temple Island:

“Host an unforgettable day of elegance on your own private island with a formal sit-down lunch for 40 guests at Temple Island.”

At Goodwood, the Festival of Speed fills the parkland around Goodwood House from 15 to 18 July, and Glorious Goodwood follows on the racecourse from 27 to 31 July. Goodwood is already selling hospitality for the Festival of Speed, and says general tickets go on sale later in the year.

August: Cowes Week

The Season ends on the water. Cowes Week runs from 31 July to 6 August 2027, with up to 750 boats racing in about 40 classes on the Solent. It marked its bicentenary in 2026, and the organiser says entries for 2027 open in the new year.

Dress codes

Every organiser sets its own rules, and some differ by enclosure. Henley’s Stewards’ Enclosure has a strict code:

“Gentlemen are required to wear lounge suits, or jackets or blazers with trousers, together with a tie or, if preferred, a cravat.”
— Henley Royal Regatta — Stewards’ Enclosure dress code (opens in a new tab)
“Ladies are required to wear dresses or skirts with a hemline below the knee, or jackets or blazers with trousers, or trouser suits.”

For Royal Ascot, Epsom and the other racecourses, see our racing dress codes guide. Your confirmation from us gives the code for your enclosure and day.

Planning more than one day

  • Your dates, in order of preference.
  • How many guests, and whether the group changes from day to day.
  • The style for each day: a private box or chalet, a restaurant table or a lounge.
  • A budget per guest, including VAT.

Your host replies with one written quote covering every day, with each venue’s dress code and a per-guest price including VAT.
