Arena hospitality beyond London

Six arenas from Manchester to Dublin: what each sells for a night at a show, in its own words, and what to ask first.
The six arenas at a glance
Five of the six sell hospitality show by show; Dublin’s 3Arena offers annual memberships instead. Each arena has its own page on this site, and the last column links to the shows we list there.

Before you choose, it helps to know:
- Is it a private suite, seats in a shared suite or a lounge with seats outside?
- Is a ticket for the show included, or is it an upgrade to a ticket you already have?
- Are food and drink included, ordered in advance or paid for on the night?
- Is parking included?
- Is there a minimum number of guests?
AO Arena, Manchester
For a single show, AO Arena sells private suites, a premium bar and restaurant called The Mezz, and lighter lounge upgrades. A super-suite at the stage end takes up to 34 guests, with its own bar. In the suites:
“Your personal host will take care of everything you need and our in-house chef will excite your taste buds with an array of dishes and snacks served throughout the event.”
The Mezz has a bar for cocktails and small plates and a restaurant with Michelin-curated dishes. Of both, the arena says:
“Both packages include a show ticket with premium padded seats right in the heart of the action!”
The lighter options run from a glass of fizz with a sharing board to a gin lounge with its own entrance, two drinks and a seat for the show.
Utilita Arena Birmingham
Private suites take up to 14 guests, with elevated private seating, a lounge, food and drink arranged with the arena’s team and parking included. They are hired by the year or for a single event.
Smaller groups can buy premium tickets show by show. The top tier adds a pre-show dining menu and unlimited drinks in a lounge and through the show; others add a one-course meal or a welcome drink, all with priority entry and most with pre-booked parking. The premium seats sit on balconies by the lounges:
“With plush padding and extra-leg room, you'll enjoy the show in style and have easy access to the bar throughout the night.”

M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool
Liverpool’s suites are styled on the private members’ clubs of the 1920s. The larger suites take up to 24 guests and the standard suites up to 12:
“Premium Suite packages include a welcome drink for each guest, free parking, cloakroom and premium restroom facilities with additional food and drink available to order.”
The arena lists its single-night suites show by show, each with a minimum number of guests that varies by show. Its shared lounge has live music from local performers, a fast-track entry lane, a welcome drink, a mezze platter and a premium seat, and a balcony space suits groups of two to six.

first direct bank arena, Leeds
Leeds sells a private suite for 16 guests with a welcome drink, a dedicated host, a private bar and food and drink to pre-order. Smaller groups can book a boutique lounge with seat-side service and small plates, but check what your package covers:
“Not all packages in The Mixer are all-inclusive, please see individual events for full details.”
There is also a concert dinner, with a champagne welcome in a lounge and a three-course meal before premium seats, and a premium standing platform with its own bar. These event packages include a ticket for the show; the arena sells separate upgrades to guests who already have one.

P&J Live, Aberdeen
A private suite at P&J Live has 16 to 20 seats and can be hired for one show:
“Our private suites come with all the perks you would expect as an annual suite holder, but for one individual show.”
Those perks include a premium ticket, a parking space, fast-track entry, a drinks token, food and drink ordered to the suite and a stocked pay bar. Single seats in a shared suite between the private boxes are sold show by show too. The arena’s restaurant serves dinner before selected events, by booking only:
“Please note we do not accept any walk-ins on the night of events.”
3Arena, Dublin: members’ clubs only
3Arena’s premium spaces are two private members’ clubs, and its premium page describes annual memberships rather than single-show packages. The 1878 has reserved tables, with the best seats a few seconds away:
“Membership of the 1878 is offered on an annual basis and is tailored for groups up to eight.”
The second, the Studio, is a lounge with priority booking on two tickets per show:
“Membership is designed for groups of four.”
So there is no suite or lounge to book for a single 3Arena show. If you’re set on a Dublin date, ask us what else is possible.
